Vermicomposting is using worms to turn your food scraps into worm compost. We choose to feed our worms a dairy and meat free diet. In return, they give us their waste we call black gold. Otherwise refered to as worm castings. 

   We use an old bathtub to farm our worms. Below are the steps and ingredients we used to get the whole thing started.

      After all the ingredients are mixed up, they are well drenched with water. I let this sit for a week or so before adding the Red Wigglers.
